So this past Wednesday was the Pinewood Derby for the Cub Scouts. Currently my calling in church is Den Leader so if was fun getting the boys excited for the race. Saddly my camera batteries died just after I had gotten pictures of each of the boys with their cars. (At least I got that much!) This was Noah's first Pinewood Derby and he had a lot of fun building his truck with Emil. It didn't do too well in the race. Actually he got an award for The Most Energy Efficient. He had a great attitude though and had lots of fun!
Next Wednesday is Kirstin's birthday so that's a big deal. She'll be 13! It seems like just yesterday she was a baby.
Snarling at anyone who would request it.
But she's older now and so much more grown up than that. No more of that over the top, attention getting attitude.
She's turned into a fine young lady.
Well, at least when other people are taking the pictures. When she's left to her own devices it seems that there is still some room for improvement.
But she is definately growing up and it's good to see the changes in her.
She's having 6 girls to spend the night and they are going to go climbing on the rock wall out back for fun. I hope it's a drama free night! I'll post pictures.

What cute pictures! I LOVE the baby one!! Kirstin has grown up to be a lovely young lady. She looks so much like her mom in that last picture.
That is too funny!
They grow up way too fast! The last picture is beautiful! Hope she has a great birthday and you don't lose your sanity.
Hahahahaha! Okay, I must say the best part are the pictures of Kirstin. Oh, and when did Emil make a climbing wall? Paul has been slowly making some hand holds and foot smears for the climbing wall he is going to be making. There must be a "let's make a climbing wall" bug going around right now.
